Registered Nurse Director - Transfer Center

Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Director position with the Transfer Center will have the following job responsibilities:

Directs and supervises staff as well as workflow.

Department administrator and coordinating with Transfer Center Manager establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards, and objectives in facilitating safe and EMTALA compliant timely transfers.

Effective communication and collaboration with hospital and community leadership.

Position has reporting, budgetary or fiscal accountability.

Responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing operation by exerting a leadership role which supports the client's mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.

Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital's primary function.

Position is responsible for employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders and department strategic planning.

Registered Nurse candidates for the Director position with the Transfer Center must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements. BSN or MSN preferred.

Five years of experience in nursing management in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience required. Prior experience managing or director of a Transfer Center Program preferred.

Registered Nurse License preferred, but not required.

BLS certification preferred
$120,000 to $165,000
