Position Details:
- Main Office location: Exeter, NH
- Service Area: Exeter and York territories.
- Job Type: Part-time
- Schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon - 30 hours per weekend - 3 ten-hour days.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Responds promptly to incoming calls during afterhours. (Weekends 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM)
- Assesses patient’s needs through triaging and providing in-home care when needed.
- Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary team to contribute a strong Plan of Care for each patient.
- Responds to inquiries and concerns from patients, their caregivers, and their medical team.
- Consults patients and caregivers before, during and after treatment.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of MA.
- Preferably 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on geriatrics.
- New nurses are encouraged to apply; we offer an exceptional training program.
- Excellent bedside manners and exceptional communication skills.
- Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
