Child Health Associates, is seeking a full-time (4 days/week) Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established pediatric practice in Central Massachusetts. Child Health Associates has been providing high-quality primary care to pediatric patients for over forty years. We seek a Nurse Practitioner to work collaboratively with other providers and staff members in providing high quality care to our patients.
Summary of Duties:
· Responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and coordination of care.
· Educating patients in a variety of visit types, including, annual well visits, sick visits, consultations, follow up visits and immunization visits.
- Provides age–appropriate care to patients ranging from newborn to young adult
- Properly refers patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
- Maintains accurate and complete medical history and information in patient chart
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner
- Works collaboratively with the rest of the practice’s staff to provide coordinated healthcare in team-based approach
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Massachusetts to practice in the expanded role as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Current BLS certification
