Your Role at Baxter
This position is responsible for moving tractor-trailers on the warehouse yard.

What You'll Be Doing
Ability to safely move trailers from the warehouse yard to assigned doors and/or move trailers from assigned doors to assigned parking spaces on the yard.
PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with internal and external customers
Assure compliance with all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements, including but not limited to spills, damages, and returns.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Conduct Yard checks to verify accuracy of Yard Trailer Inventory.
Communicating with Inbound/Outbound, Baxter and non-Baxter drivers coordinating where to pick-up and/or drop trailers.
Performing other tasks, as assigned.
Work overtime, if needed
Documentation
Handle BOL for outbound shipments; communicating with onsite Supervisors and personnel in Shipping and Receiving departments.
Document Inventory Discrepancies.
Complete training assignments, on time
What You'll Bring
High School Diploma or GED
Experience moving 53’, 48’, 45’, 40’ and 20’ trailers
Current CDL A License, preferred
General knowledge of material flow and the distribution process
Previous work in the warehouse environment
Must have good communication skills.
Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Good Manufacturing Practices
Warehouse Management Systems Experience
Employees are regularly required to sit; talk and hear; use hands to handle materials, drive and/or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch and open/close trainer doors.
The employee frequently is required to walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required, include but are not limited to close vision, distance
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be able to pass a vision examination with a minimum sight of 20/40 in both eyes and peripheral vision =>70 and a hearing examination.

The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
