About this Role:
As a subject matter generalist, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs the more responsible, varied, and complex assignments such as program evaluation and planning; policy analysis and formulation; systems development; budgeting, planning, management, and personnel analysis, and provides consultative services to management or others as needed. Specifically, the AGPA will conduct research, data analysis, technical assistance, and support the needs of the various projects assigned to the Data Support Unit. The AGPA is a member of the Data Governance Branch-Data Support Unit, whose function is to assist the other branches within Enterprise Data and Information Management (EDIM) on a multitude of projects and is under the direction of the Unit Chief. The Department will provide reasonable accommodations to meet these requirements.
Training and Development (T&D) assignments may be considered for this position for current California civil service employees. T&D assignments cannot exceed 24 months. However, successful T&D candidates may transition to a permanent appointment, if eligible at the end of the T&D assignment.
