POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Supervise and assist in set up and breakdown of all Food & Beverage Club Activities, Private Events and Off-Site Catering needs of Members and/or Guests.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversight of all private event and member functions, following tasks to the highest standards and adhering to function BEO’s
· Assist the Banquet Captain with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, golf tournaments, board and committee meetings and more
· Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently immediately following scheduled functions
· Operate as a banquet server; setting-up, greeting and serving the guests along with breaking-down the function
· Inspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
· Effectively supervise the banquet staff during all food and beverage services
· Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in the complete operation of the Banquet Department
· Project leadership and teamwork qualities at all times in addition to a positive attitude.
· Perform any other job-related duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Other Accountabilities
· Responsible for general safety on club grounds.
· Responsible for keeping club neat and organized prior to leaving the shift. Accountable for all
· equipment (cleanliness, reporting to manager if broken, and proper storage).
· Check the schedule to ensure that the right amount of service staff are scheduled for the next shift.
· Prior food and beverage/catering experience preferred. Organization and planning skills. Must be TABC Certified.
· Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times.
· Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
Working Conditions
· High noise level, fast pace environment. Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· High School Education preferred
English and Spanish speaker preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
