The role will be responsible for all aspects of the business development cycle, including lead generation, pipeline management, deal closure, and account management. In addition, this position will represent The CCIM Institute at key stakeholder events.

Your Core Contributions to the Team

Position The CCIM Institute as the preferred education partner to companies to enhance their employee professional development.
- Execute and complete the sales cycle for The CCIM Institute’s education partnership agreements, driving each phase from initial lead generation to successful closing.
- Maintain and expand the portfolio of education partnership agreements, ensuring continuous growth and strategic development.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to design and create impactful assets that facilitate the sales process and drive engagement.
- Drive revenue growth by securing sponsorships that capitalize on opportunities from events, educational sessions, and website ad buys, while developing comprehensive proposals and pitching potential opportunities to prospective education partners, sponsors, and advertisers.
- Produce the annual prospectus for sponsorship and advertising, detailing attractive partnership opportunities and value propositions.
- Manage client accounts to ensure commitments are fulfilled, results are communicated, and questions are answered. Track the accounts’ success and provide feedback on ways to improve results.
- Collaborate with internal CCIM Institute departments (i.e. education, marketing, finance, IT) to ensure commitments can be properly implemented.
- Administer the logistics of sending materials to trade shows and conferences and ensure the proper setup of exhibit tables and booths at the event locations.
- Represent The CCIM Institute externally and interact with high-level clients across multiple niche audiences, virtually and in-person. Act as an internal expert on CCIM education product offerings.
- Research emerging trends and market opportunities to support The CCIM Institute’s business goals.
- Lead corporate implementation strategy and operations; Regularly track and assess the reach and impact of the partners' marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Advance The CCIM Institute’s diversity and inclusion goals through all sales interactions and opportunities

About You
Knowledge and abilities
- Minimum 5 years in business development, marketing, or related experience.
Education, certification, licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in sales management, marketing, or related field is required.
Qualifications and other skills
- Strong people and negotiation skills
- Expert in prospecting, new account development, and cold calling
- Self-disciplined and professional; driven to work hard with limited supervision
- Highly skilled in the use of social media, primarily LinkedIn for business development
- Solid analytical, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, and planning skills
- Ability to communicate strategic and conceptual solutions with prospects and clients
- Must be proficient in written and verbal communications internally and externally
