1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7am-5pm; 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5pm-3am; *Note- shift may require Friday overtime. No Saturday's or Sunday's.
Summary: The primary focus of this role is to inspect rolls of printed products to ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lift label rolls onto rewind machinery.
- Set up scanning equipment pursuant to job specifications.
- Operate rewind machinery by depressing color-coded buttons to start and stop rewind process.
- Inspect labels for visual imperfections based on job specifications.
- Remove defective labels and manually replace with proper horizontal and vertical positioning.
- Replace long sequence of defective labels by splicing and re-taping pursuant to job specifications.
- Re-inspect labels for proper adhesion as they are rolled after initial inspection.
- Review computer scanning of labels for non-visually detected imperfections. Make label adjustments and/or replacements accordingly.
- Inspect back-numbered labels for proper sequence.
- Rewind labels onto rolls after inspection is complete.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Preferred
- Previous Rewind experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred
Physical Qualifications:
- Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required.
