Behavior Manager
Description: Counsel students experiencing behavioral or emotional issues utilizing behavior intervention strategies. Helping students regulate their emotions in a healthy way.
Responsibilities:
A. Provide crisis intervention.
B. Facilitate and monitor behavioral plans.
C. Record and submit summary of students’ progress.
D. Coordinate meetings to facilitate students' completion of the problem resolution process.
E. Attending meetings pertaining to Behavior Management.
F. Facilitate student suspensions with clinical staff.
G. Facilitate extended resolves and suspension interventions.
H. Oversee maintenance of data entry and record keeping.
I. Facilitate program development.
J. Attend clinical and/or academic staff meetings as needed.
K. Supervise/ monitor student lunch duty.
N. Attending staff meetings.
O. Fulfill student monitoring/supervising responsibilities as assigned.
P. Coordinate student activities as assigned.
Q. Attend Parent Teacher Conferences.
R. Participate in on-going professional development and enrichment.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Master's degree in the above fields preferred. Licensure a plus.
Schedule: This is a permanent full-time position working the school year (10 mos.) mid-August to mid-June each year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
