Account Executive Chronic Therapies – Far South Texas

Pharmacy Specialists is a leading provider of home infusion therapy in Texas. As an Account Executive Chronic Therapies with Pharmacy Specialists, you will be responsible for strategically promoting and expanding our business opportunities, delivering revenue growth in your assigned area, and contributing to the achievement of the company’s revenue goals. This role focuses on IVIG, biologics, and other infused specialty medications. You will work to establish new referral relationships and ensure timely care for patients, providing an extraordinary customer and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development: Identify and leverage opportunities to expand relationships with referral sources. Partner with the medical community to understand and meet patients' needs.
· Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales to present therapy programs within assigned accounts, aiming to meet and exceed sales goals.
· Preadmission Coordination: Gather preadmission data and collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
· Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships through regular sales calls with physicians, social workers, RN discharge planners, and other healthcare practitioners to ensure efficient coordination to home.
· Clinical Resource: Serve as a valuable clinical resource to referral sources, identifying opportunities to serve patients and ensuring a seamless transition of care with the Pharmacy Specialists team.
· Patient Education: Conduct initial infusion setup and provide patient/caregiver education on our services before beginning home therapy.
· Communication: Utilize strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills to interact with and form relationships with key partners.
· Sales Outreach: Make telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
· Dynamic Environment: Thrive in a rapidly changing environment requiring multi-tasking, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.

· Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Preferred experience in in-home infusion sales
· Preferred healthcare and/or pharmaceutical experience
· Equivalent combination of academic, clinical, and operational experience considered
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in operations/management preferred
· Preferred clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, LVN, RN, or similar
· Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
· Ability to travel
