PURPOSE OF POSITION:*
A Catering Supervisor at Catholic Charities:
- Works directly with Food Services and Kitchen supervisors in planning meal deliveries throughout each facility
- Works within Health department guidelines to ensure food safety protocols are being carried out.
- Maintains standards and quality control of meals provided to remote locations for Women’s Emergency Services.
- Responsible for communicating any vehicle issues with the Warehouse manager.
- Ensures timely arrival and departure of food delivery to remote WES locations.
- Reports to and works directly with Warehouse Manager to ensure catering procedures are being followed.
- Responsible for scheduling the catering team members to all sites for every meal.
- Responsible the posting and communication of the written schedules for each food service location a week ahead.
- Directs volunteer management for the warehouse which includes:
- Large groups
- Sack lunches
- Donation sorting
- Travels, as necessary, to sites related to meal service distribution on a regular, weekly basis.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with CACFP program and food safety standards are adhered to.
- Experience in supervision and/or food distribution and catering.
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Must be organized and able to work with little or no supervision.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from accredited two-year college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary:* $22-24/hr. DOE
