NTT DATA Services Managed Services Program Manager - Remote within the United States
The NTT DATA Services Transformation / Migration Program Manager is responsible for successfully executing client transformation / migration projects and programs involving Infrastructure Technology Outsourced services. For each engagement, the Program Manager works with a team to develop and implement a transformation / migration plan that manages cost and schedule to create or modify facilities, hire required staff, implement and test technical solutions, etc.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Main interface between account management, client, and the migration effort
- Responsible for ensuring the migration strategy and planning can be accomplished within the constraints of the contract and the cost model
- Have knowledge of all migration strategies including P2P, P2V, V2V, Clone, Greenfield, Pack & Ship, Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, ReEngineer, etc.
- Ability to lead migrations and transitions to the cloud in addition to other migration strategies
- Responsible for ensuring timely change management with the account and will work with the account to rolldown CRs to the client
- Manage a global team of project managers, coordinators, schedulers, technical lead(s), and technical SMEs to ensure successful migration execution
- Identify issues and risks and work with the account, client, and technical teams to manage these to successful closure
- Responsible for prompt escalation of issues to T&T management when the issues will affect the ability to successfully execute the migration within scope, schedule, and cost parameters
- Management responsibility for the entire migration program, including:
- initiation
- schedule development
- discovery and move package development
- scope finalization
- migration strategy finalization
- data center build design & execution
- move package management
- interfacing with client application teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors
- Responsible to identify dependencies with other technical teams (cloud, citrix, client, applications, 3 rd -party, etc.) and ensure they successfully deliver within the program's constraints and timeframes
- Responsible for Scope, Schedule, and Cost Management
- Responsible for RAID Management
- Responsible for development of contract traceability to program deliverables (RTM)
- Provide status reporting & updates to T&T, account, and client management
- Supports pre-sales efforts as needed by advising solution developers to identify all start-up duties, transformation tasks, and associated cost and schedule.
- Directs the execution of the transformation / migration plan and reports project management metrics to senior management per departmental standard operating procedure.
- Tests and verifies validity of implemented technical solutions, providing feedback as appropriate to the service architecture group on problems and issues.
- Follows all organizational standard operating procedure relative to cost modeling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.
- Interacts heavily with customer IT management (including executive management), segment sales, segment services sales, segment management, internal NTT DATA Services organizations, and vendor partners.
- Takes assignment of projects of varying scope, time, and complexity and completes associated project tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Bridges relationship between the pre-sales services architect and the post-sales operational business manager.
Qualifications
- Skills and experience in managing complex transformation / migration programs and projects.
- Exemplary project management and customer management abilities.
- Must be able to manage related project financials.
- In-depth ability to assess, manage, and remediate project risks.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Experience with executive level status reporting
- Ability to think strategically with an understanding of operations and service delivery
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree plus 8+ years relevant experience.
- Up to 50% or more travel to customer sites may be required.
- ITIL and PMI certification is preferred.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is
($50-70/hour). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
