We are seeking a Demand Planner who will be a team player and is able to work in a collaborative manner to gather and use data, make recommendations, and support decision making for production and distribution.
To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of demand planning and forecasting methods.
This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review inventory levels, use sales history, projects sales based on latest trends and recommend supply quantities to optimize level of accessories and spare parts.
- Asses monthly and yearly forecast for various customers, using historical data and promotional impact analysis.
- Perform analysis of demand for new customers.
- Validate latest sales data and suggests changes, and or request approvals for changes to forecast.
- Evaluate distributor inventory and makes decisions on shipments of available inventory.
- Analyze data for assigned states/projects and how it relates to overall objectives.
- Identify potential challenges to assigned cross-functional projects and must be able to anticipate questions.
Job Experience/Skills:
- Experience working with databases, data warehouse applications and/or ERP systems.
- Data mining skills include the ability to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret information from various data sources.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Experience with supply chain processes and the associated data needed to support these businesses.
- Good understanding of inventory accounting.
- Strategic, critical thinker, strong organizational skills, team player, solution driven.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert using Excel.
- Experience with Tableau would be a plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant working experience.
