POSITION SUMMARY: The Scheduling Coordinator is a key point of contact for clients and caregivers and is responsible for all aspects of scheduling caregivers for client shifts and client satisfaction. We are looking for an individual who is confident, has the highest standards of integrity and can communicate compassionately and effectively to ensure exceptional client satisfaction. Candidates applying for this position must be highly organized, work well independently and maintain a friendly, positive and professional outlook.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support for Amada Senior Care’s mission statement to promote compassionate, high quality in-home senior care
· Select, schedule and coordinate caregivers based on assessment information and care plan information for new and existing clients
· Own and drive excellence in scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or “call offs” arise. Complete schedule for the next business day/weekend before leaving for the day.
· Contact clients and/or their representative to determine scheduling needs. Engage with client and/or representative to receive and act upon feedback regarding services.
· Enter and maintain data for caregivers in relevant systems
· Ensure caregivers are updated on individualized care plans for clients
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· Scheduling experience required (in-home care scheduling preferred)
· Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) training/certification
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills to drive positive customer experiences and successful relationship management with clients, families, caregivers and staff
· Exceptional self-motivation, self-direction, time management, organizational skills, flexibility and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
· Analytical mindset and extreme attention to detail coupled with an ability to also see the “big picture”
· Proven ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced, results-oriented environment with multiple demands
· Proven ability to work productively in a team environment and across team member dependencies
· Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and a high aptitude for learning additional software programs
· Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.
· Must maintain current state driver’s license and have a dependable insured automobile
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SALARY: $37,000 to $45,760 /year ($18-22/hour) based on experience
BENEFITS: 3 weeks PTO/year, 401k, allowance for medical/dental/vision insurance
