Project Engineer:
Travel expectations: 50-75%
Position Overview:
The Project Engineer will lead projects from inception to completion and be the company face with various clients. The Project engineer will be responsible for execution of service contracts, completing engineering design on small turn key projects and managing installation and commissioning.
This job requires an engineer that enjoys solving problems in the field as well as managing turnkey projects and client relationships. An ideal candidate will feel comfortable on both a construction site and working in a manufacturing facility.
This position is a ‘hands on’ engineering role. The position is a mix between 50% hands on troubleshooting, commissioning, etc. and 50% project management, documentation, design, etc.

Requirements/ Expectations:
The engineer must be able to work in an environment with little to no oversight and management. This position offers a very flexible work environment and the engineer MUST be able to complete the necessary work with this freedom. This is a remote position with national travel expectations being 50-75% of the time depending on the project.
Required Experience:
· Basic knowledge of HVAC Engineering Principles
· Mechanical Troubleshooting skills
· Controls Troubleshooting skills
· Interpersonal skills – ability to work with difficult clients
· PLC Programming knowledge or understanding
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
Bonus Experience/ Skills:
· Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing large HVAC systems
· Mechanical Commissioning
· NEBB certification
· Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC programming experience
· Experience with Automotive Manufacturing, Hospitals, Clean rooms, or Laboratories
· Experience with industrial ovens or Kilns
· Experience with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) or Abetment Systems
· Experience with waste water treatment processes
· Experience with Industrial Burners or NFPA 86/ 87 guidlines
· Bilingual (German, Polish, Spanish, Japanese)
Daily Work Expectations:
· Ability to Travel
· Ability to work flexible hours if needed
· Ability to use basic hand tools safely
· Comfortable working in manufacturing environment
· Understanding of basic OSHA safety rules
· Ability to routinely use and climb ladders
