Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide basic care for dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications if necessary.
- Engage in playtime activities with dogs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent any aggressive or unsafe interactions.
- Assist with dog training exercises and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Skills:
- Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of pet care practices, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and basic grooming.
- Experience in dog training or handling is a preferred.
- Ability to safely restrain animals when necessary.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and address their needs.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
