US Colleges is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to fulfill a multifaceted role, combining expertise in phlebotomy with a focus on business development and preceptorship responsibilities. The individual is responsible for acquiring externship sites while also providing guidance and mentorship to aspiring phlebotomists, ensuring their successful integration into the healthcare workforce.
This role is a temporary position that will work closely with the Director and report to the General Manager. Schedule will be determined as business needed but mostly Monday Friday 8-5. Weekends as needed. Travel up to 75% between 6 campuses and prospective externship sites in the LA area.
Description of responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.

Develop strategic plans and initiatives to expand the organization's phlebotomy externship site inventory.

As needed, on behalf of US Colleges, work as a preceptor for students on externship sites.

Provide hands-on training and mentorship in phlebotomy techniques and best practices.

Assess and evaluate learner performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Certification and currently licensed in the State of California, as a phlebotomist.

Proven track record in business development and sales, within the healthcare industry.

Experience in precepting, mentoring, or teaching, with a passion for education and professional development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on goal attainment and results-driven outcomes.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Compensation package:
Non-exempt hourly temporary employee, $30-$35 per hour, no benefits
Schedule:
40 hours per week; temporary; 90 days minimum with potential to extend.
