Job Description:
Founded in 1987, McKenney Mechanical is a full service HVAC, Refrigeration and Process Piping Contractor specializing in the installation and service of demanding applications. We provide commercial customers installation and service support across the Connecticut and the lower Hudson Valley, NY areas. At McKenney Mechanical our Team takes pride in delivering the highest quality project or service, completed on time, within our Customer’s expectations and budget.
This position reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Focuses on supporting McKenney Mechanical’s existing and expanding Customer Base
- Responsible for continued focus on McKenney’s strong belief in operating safely, with integrity
- Works with Team to technically evaluate Customer Service needs then produces a quality proposal to address them
- Builds relationships inside of Customers Organizations, creating a partnership built on supporting Customers’ needs, while communicating McKenney’s value proposition of world class installation and service
- Evaluates leads internally and develops opportunities to build a pipeline
- Works with the Team to close deals for Owner projects and service agreements, new and expanded
- Works with the rest of the McKenney Team to ensure the proper scope has been identified and implemented on projects and service agreements on an on-going basis, starting with proper hand-off of sale
- Maintains clear and concise documentation around all sales related activities
- Effectively utilizes McKenney Mechanical’s CRM to track pipeline and drive closure rate up
- At times it may be necessary to support other sales opportunities being developed by other Teammates
- Works closely with the Service Operations Team to support our Customers’ needs
- Develops, implements, and maintains focus on continuous improvement processes
- Actively participates in community and industry events
Targeted Qualifications:
- College or Technical degree in related field, or equivalent experience, desired
- Minimum of three years sales experience in related field
- Ability to communicate and present across multiple mediums effectively, with professionalism
- Capable of working somewhat independently at times and with the Team at other times
- Computer experience with Microsoft Suite and CRMs
