We are a rapidly growing Diesel repair shop looking to hire experienced Technicians immediately. Ideal Candidates must be knowledgeable of Diesel engine repair and use of power tools and engine diagnostics equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, buses, and heavy machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components.
- Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in vehicles.
- Ability to perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation.
- Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles.
- Experience in equipment repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
