Potomac Legal Group is seeking a Partner for our Litigation practice at our North Bethesda office.
We will consider attorneys currently holding Senior Associate and Counsel positions, as well as Partners seeking a lateral transfer.
Salary Range: $200,000 to $250,000.
Compensation Package: In addition to salary, the compensation package will include additional customary compensation, including attorney origination credit for new client development and consideration for any existing business that transfers with the attorney.
Work Location: The Partner would need to be accessible to our North Bethesda office for regular meetings, depositions and client development events. We maintain an exceptional office space, and the Partner would have a permanent office space when not working remote.
Support: The Firm has a full-time support staff of legal assistants, law clerks and administrative professionals who support the Partners.

About the Position
Successful candidates will have significant experience in litigation, a record of outstanding achievement, superior writing and analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates must have significant experience independently managing cases throughout all phases of litigation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently licensed (Active) in Maryland & Washington, D.C.
- Extensive experience in litigation at a law firm.
- Currently hold a title as Senior Associate Attorney, Counsel or Partner.
- Ability to manage all phases of complex employment litigation.
- Experience managing caseloads.
- Review and analyze complex employment agreements.
- Prepare demands, motions and pleadings.
- Must be able to have extensive client interaction.
- Must be able to appear in court.
- Must be proficient in managing cases.
- Must be able to take and defend depositions.
- Must be able to argue motions.
- Experience preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations, settlement conferences and mediation.
- Possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving clients.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, stellar organizational skills and the ability to communicate well.
