Triage Partners is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in the Technology sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team on-site in Tampa, Florida.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits-related activities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of payroll experience and a comprehensive understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and benefit administration.
Specific Job Duties Include:

Execute W2 biweekly payroll with precision and adherence to established timelines.

Process weekly invoices for 1099 contractors accurately.

Reconcile benefit deductions to monthly invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Process Garnishments, Wage Assignments, Tax Levies, etc.

Prepare final pay for terminated employees in accordance with state-specific requirements.

Regularly audit payroll data for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of payroll.

Reconcile and process contribution files for 401(k) and HSA plans with each payroll.

Interface with employees at all levels to provide assistance with payroll-related questions and resolve problems effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.

Proficient in using payroll software and HRIS.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners.
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of latitude is required for this position.
