Job Overview:
The Warehouse Material Handler will work closely with the warehouse manager and operations team to fill customer orders, load and unload trucks, as well as stock and cycle count material. An ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, show some degree of mechanical acumen, be a strong communicator and team player. Prior knowledge of forklift operation is a bonus.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving and preparing inventory for delivery
- Using technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
- Using power and hand tools including table saws and pneumatic nailers
- Forklift operation
- Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets, crates, and packages
- Conducting routine cycle counts of material
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Lifting up to 65 pounds
- Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts
- Using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Daily Environment:
You’ll be working around moving machines – stand-up forklifts as well as power tools and pneumatic equipment. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, moving large materials, or climbing stairs. Even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse; on hot days, temperatures can be over 90°F in the truck yard. It can get noisy at times, we provide hearing protection if you need it. Dress code is relaxed and comfortable, but sturdy closed-toe shoes are required.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
