Who We Are
Katy Teen & Family Counseling is a group practice providing therapy services to teens, young adults, and families in the Katy and Houston area. We also provide couples counseling, neurofeedback, and other sub-specialties.
We provide therapy for those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, ADHD/ADD, trauma, PTSD, performance anxiety, self-esteem/self-worth, etc.
Some of the best practice approaches we utilize are CBT, EMDR, ART, Neurofeedback, Motivational Interviewing, among others. We are excited to bring on therapists who also bring their own best practice approaches!
We are seeking a fully licensed therapists in the state of Texas (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) for a full-time position with generous pay. We will also consider the right candidate who is an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A licensed in Texas.
Therapists must:
- Have prior or current private practice experience
- Be committed & devoted to client care
- Have a strong customer/client service orientation
- Be able to work independently with little to no direction (after training)
- A therapist who can work towards the goals of the group practice as a whole
- Have strong, timely documentation skills
- Be ethical in decision making & demonstrate integrity
- Be dependable & hardworking
Work Setting:
As a 1099 contractor, you will be provided with:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior or current experience in a private practice setting
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling
- Fully licensed therapist in the state of Texas (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
- Will consider the right candidate who is an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A licensed in the state of Texas
- Passion in providing therapy to teens, young adults, families
- Ability to practice independently while also supporting the goals of the group practice
- Ability to manage client intake documentation & ensure completion prior to starting therapy with your client
- Have current Personal Liability Malpractice Insurance
Preference:
- Two years in providing therapy to teens & young adults.
- Marriage counseling or couples therapy experience
- Family therapy experience
- EMDR/ART/TF-CBT or other trauma/PTSD therapy training
- Neurofeedback therapist
Job Type:
- Schedule:
- Full time seeing 20-25+ clients a week Monday - Friday
- During the school year, 3 days a week where you provide after school hours (3 pm - 8 pm) OR Saturdays (Either or, not both)

Pay:
- For fully licensed therapists: $90-$120 per hour (your take home pay)
- For LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A: $70-$80 per hour (your take home pay)
