Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct medication therapy management and provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
- Oversee medication inventory management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform utilization review and medical management activities to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide pharmaceutical care in various settings including acute care, critical care, emergency room, and pediatrics
- Administer medications following appropriate protocols
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Experience working in hospital pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to conduct utilization review and medical management processes
- Expertise in acute care, critical care, emergency room, and pediatric pharmacy practices
