As a Senior Observability Consultant at NETbuilder, you’ll guide and inspire a diverse team to deliver impactful projects, enabling our clients to achieve operational excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and colleagues from cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and perform hands-on engineering tasks. Your collaborative approach will ensure effective communication and success with both customers and internal teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain Observability Solutions using Splunk, Cribl, Elastic and Crowdstrike
- Onboard complex data sources to an Observability tool
- Handle client demands and expectations effectively
- Collaborate with customers to understand their data and technology challenges
- Provide support during pre-sales phase
- Assist with customer training and adoption of innovative technologies
- Stay up to date with Observability best practices
Key Skills:
- Experience of managing client demands and expectations, challenging appropriately to understand the business need and requirements
- Highly experienced in CrowdStrike including critical areas of risk; endpoints and cloud workloads, identity, and data
- Proficient in widely used automation tools such as Splunk, Cribl or Elastic
- Eager to learn and gain new Observability certifications
In addition to your Observability experience and qualifications:
- Proficient in scripting languages i.e. Python, Bash
- Proficient in writing regular expressions
- Experience with containerized solutions i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
- Familiarity with Cloud computing platforms AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experienced in using PMO and ITSM tooling e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
- Certified in at least one of the following: Splunk, Cribl, Elastic
