We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. As a Carpenter/Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction projects, including frame carpentry, plastering, mold remediation, trim carpentry, repairs, demolition, fixture installation, etc. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power tools and a good eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the construction and renovation of residential and commercial buildings
- Perform frame carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing wooden structures
- Conduct plastering and drywall repairs to ensure a smooth finish
- Participate in mold remediation and water damage restoration projects
- Assist with any framing for walls, floors and ceilings
- Perform trim carpentry tasks including installing baseboards, crown molding, and window casings
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately complete assigned tasks
- Assist with repairs and maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Laborer or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and other carpentry equipment
- Strong knowledge of frame carpentry techniques and practices
- Familiarity with the framing process
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Self motivated
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials or equipment when necessary
- Must have reliable transportation
- Having your own tape measure and tool belt is a bonus

Pay: $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
