General Purpose: Estimating on residential and commercial projects. Provide assistance with project management. Provide take-offs and written proposals while maintaining documents with revisions and updates. Receive and respond to customer related inquiries. Scheduling and meeting with customers. Provide assistance with scheduling as required to maintain project efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, blueprints, schematics, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to work well under tight deadlines, solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings, interpret conditions, and analyze field conditions to ensure pricing consistent with risk encountered and profit opportunity offered.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public.
Ability to travel to job sites.
Ability to provide positive interaction with customers.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effective present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime.
Multi-tasking, organized and efficient. Ability to plan and arrange activities into logical, practical and feasible schedules.
Hard worker with excellent work ethic. Ability to be trusted and depended upon when handling highly important and/or confidential information.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide construction manager with detailed estimates for both residential and commercial projects. Must understand details of projects to efficiently produce estimates.
Coordinate and track department jobs and projects, including maintaining records and documents through use of Microsoft Office programs i.e., Word, Excel, and Estimating/Project Management software.
Coordinate warranty work, including contacting owners, creating work orders, ordering required materials and routing/transmitting signed work orders.
Perform small measures, including customer contact, taking measurements, and developing plans and drawings.
Develop and type quotes, contracts and other documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; expert business writing, verbal and listening skills.
Construction document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
Possess positive attitude of cooperation and collaboration with clients and team members.
Willingness to adapt to and accept constructive feedback and implement necessary corrections in a timely manner.
Flexibility and willingness to assume new duties/responsibilities as necessary to respond to fluctuating work hours driven by project/production needs.
Expert organizational and problem-solving skills.
Able to provide & encourage positive attitude of cooperation and collaboration with senior management.
Possess organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to multitask and jump from task to task when needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
This position may require traveling between jobsites and the office, when needed. Flatirons Construction requires all employees who drive their personnel or a company vehicle in the routine performance of their jobs to have a valid Driver’s License. They must also provide proof of valid insurance.
