Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Web Developer to join our team.
The Role
- As an experienced WordPress Web Developer, you will be responsible for taking approved website page and landing page concepts and developing them to be fully functional, error-free, and fully responsive.
- You handle all custom and miscellaneous website-related tasks such as content updates, functionality modifications to existing sites, maintaining WordPress websites (core files, plugins, QA checks), and are not afraid of tackling website/server-related issues that may arise.
- You are responsible for conducting rigorous quality assurance testing and QA’ing your work as well.
- You carry intense attention to detail and work efficiently and effectively; you are highly aware of time management and are able to handle multiple projects/tasks at once while meeting deadlines/due dates.
- You have a strong understanding of UI/UX and work well with design and SEO team members to deliver high-end deliverables.
- You take ownership of the success of website projects and web development tasks and will share input in the fields of technical SEO and UI/UX in order to deliver only the best to the client.
- You provide excellent communication to your team members with task status updates and proactively provide context and details to your team if a client has a question about their website and any specific functionalities.

The Task At Hand
- Building new custom pages into our existing WordPress website using Advanced Custom Fields. At least one sales page per week
- Taking website page designs in Figma into custom WordPress website pages while following industry-standard processes.
- Managing our WordPress site + WooCommerce.
- Updating and maintaining our WordPress websites (plugins, core files, and resolving errors).
- Communicating to your team members the completion of website-related tasks and regularly sharing updates with your team.
- Conducting rigorous quality assurance testing before deploying website changes to staging and production environments.
- Troubleshooting website errors and tackling custom website tasks.
Job Requirements:
- **Exceptional problem-solving skills and written and verbal communication skills are required.
- **Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- 3+ years of experience in HTML5, CSS, PHP, Java, FTP, and MySQL.
- 3+ years experience in WordPress development.
- 3+ years experience in responsive site development.
- 3+ years of experience with understanding UI/UX and what good functional design is.
- 3+ years of experience with developing custom flexible layouts in the back end of WordPress.
- 3+ years of experience with developing custom fields with ACF.
- Expert experience taking Figma site concepts and developing them into a custom WordPress theme using best practices.
- Complete and strong understanding of WordPress Codex.
- Strong experience managing multiple website projects at one time.
- Can perform under pressure when a project demands immediate action.
- You hold yourself accountable and put out your best work every day.
- The ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, providing the most useful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner.
- You are thinking ahead and proactively providing solutions to your team when related to web development tasks.

This is a part-time, 100% remote position.
