Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Preschool is a small center in Columbus, OH. We are professional and agile. We are a Christian based Preschool, MUST be comfortable teaching Christian values/lessons in an inclusive style.
Our infant/Toddler classroom will be opening in March and we are seeking loving, nurturing, passionate, degreed caregivers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in a daycare setting.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Provide support and guidance to children in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Conduct small group activities and individual tutoring sessions to help children improve their math skills.
- Engage children in physical education activities to promote their physical well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

```Qualifications:```
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field, Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience) or CDA.
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and critical thinking
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learners is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
