Position Summary: The Production Manager will manage the production and operations floor team in day-to-day operations. Reviews processes and tasks for production from end to end. The Production Manager will be the first point of contact for the production team with questions, concerns, and their time management. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the safety, quality, productivity, and logistics of warehouse employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties:
- Creates and effectively manages production schedule with staff and prioritizes any and all changes
- Supports continuous improvement efforts by analyzing production workflows for inefficiencies and implements solutions, with leadership approval.
- Manages inventory transactions, not limited to receiving, shipping, moving trucks internally.
- Monitor and take appropriate improvement actions as needed to meet production quality and production goals.
- Effectively perform all production and inventory aspects in ERP System.
Compliance/Audits
- Conduct, lead, and/or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes
- Effectively conducts cycle counts of forklifts and major components ie, batteries and chargers
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Proactively leads warehouse and production staff on daily responsibilities and challenges, not limited to order fulfillment
- Leads new hire, annual, and refresher training for all production staff, and others when needed
Leadership and Collaboration
- Proactively identify opportunities to provide suggestions to continuously improve our processes and organization; utilize problem solving techniques, team building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools
- Successfully manage and develop a growing team in an onsite work environment with constantly expanding responsibilities due to growth and increasing complexity of our business
- Effectively leads the morning production meetings to ensure production priorities, potential roadblocks, and company/facility updates are discussed/communicated.
Education and Experience
- 7+ years' experience in managing employees in task prioritization and completion in a factory environment
- Associate degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability of being a strategic thinker and see the big picture while prioritizing effectively
- Strong excel and computer skills
- Welding experience a plus

Pay: $44,544.64 - $53,645.16 per year
