Remote Care Opportunity -- Competitive Pay ($120 - $150 an hour or $25 per consult or $3 pmpm)
ModRN Health is looking for a compassionate and experienced primary care/ family medicine physician with strong experience in remote care. To be successful as a remote care physician with ModRN Health, the physician must effectively communicate with RNs, administration, and patients through numerous virtual communication channels including video platforms. An exceptional remote care physician should keep abreast of the latest developments in the healthcare industry as well as demonstrate sound medical knowledge and excellent analytical skills.
Physicians work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. The content of medical decision-making focuses on common conditions that would present within an episodic, acute, or primary care medical practice.
We are currently recruiting in the states of AL, IN, LA, MN, MS with a strong preference for multiple state licensure.
Responsibilities:
· Discussing and reviewing members’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
· Collaborating with registered nurses to best meet desirable health outcomes for the population. Strong teamwork is a must.
· Asking situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
· Formulating suitable treatment plans to address non-threatening conditions, such as common colds, cases of flu, ear infections, urinary tract infections, allergies, and rashes.
· Prescribing various diagnostic tests to aid in providing accurate diagnoses.
· Analyzing diagnostic test results and explaining them for members.
· Prescribing suitable medications to members and providing proper dosage and administration instructions.
· Maintaining accurate records of patient's contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress using ModRN Health systems and processes.
· Advising members on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health.
· Developing proactive, routine care plans for member population.
· Assisting members in managing chronic health conditions.
· Aids in treatment and management of chronic conditions
Requirements
· Must be licensed in AL, IN, LA, MN, MS
· Doctor of medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
· Licensed as a physician in good standing in PA. Multiple state licensure strongly preferred and a willingness to obtain additional state medical licenses as needed.
· Board-certified in family or internal medicine or a related field.
· Proven experience working as a telemedicine physician.
· Sound medical knowledge.
· The ability to effectively consult with RN and patients through virtual communication channels.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· A patient and compassionate disposition creating an exceptional telemedicine experience.
· Detail-oriented.
· 4+ years of post-residency experience in primary care, family practice, or urgent care
· Timely and professional
Schedule:
· Monday to Friday
· Night shift
· Weekend availability
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $450.00 - $1,500.00 per month
