Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review of Customer order(s) and placement of purchase orders

Determine and manage appropriate inventory levels

Maintenance of reorder model for material review

Work with logistics and suppliers
-
Establish and maintain quote file for system pricing, if required

Communicate with Management on issues relating to supplier performance and inventory changes

Communicate with Management operations on shortages, anticipated shortages, expediting status, etc.

Work with vendors and plant personnel in resolving receiving / shipping issues

Coordinate and expedite flow of materials & maintain Inventory

Other duties may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 1-3 Years’ experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and suppliers both verbally and in writing
- Mastery of mid-level functionality in Microsoft Excel (ability to modify formulas, import and export data, filter data)
- Preferred experience with SAP integrated materials / production systems (MRP)
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong initiative and drive to resolve problems and implement process improvements
- Ability to handle situation at any time or assist
Education:
- Associate or higher degree preferred
