Functional Audit Support Analyst
Summary/objective:
The Audit Support Coordinator is an administrative support position assisting the Submarine Quality Assurance office prepare for and execute audits of government and private facilities that do new construction and maintenance work on future and in-service submarines. Other duties include preparing letters and memos for the program office for various correspondence with the submarine community as well as collecting and delivering data and metrics to support quarterly and annual self-assessments.
Essential functions:

Drafting and distributing serialized correspondence

Travel to the audit location and manage the flow of the audit findings while supporting the audit team and the team leader

Conduct in-person and remote meetings with the customer and submarine community

Arrange audit team travel, security, and collect team contact information

Prepare auditor materials, including source documents and audit guides

Prepare and distribute the draft audit report and the final report

Document management and data metrics

Draft and produce other deliverables as assigned.
Required education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field (or equivalent experience) preferred

MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Sharepoint and ability to learn other web-based applications

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. The employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and must account for the hours in a pay period to maintain full-time status.
Telework:
This is a REMOTE/Telework Allowed up to 40% position.
Travel:
Up to 25% CONUS / OCONUS travel may be required.
