An Operations Manager is needed on a direct hire basis with benefits and bonuses in the Atlanta, GA territory. This position reports directly to the Executive VP of Operations and oversees the crew in a commercial installation industry. The Manager has responsibility for the safety, quality and operation. Experience overseeing the installation of industrial/mechanical products in the commercial industry a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform coaching of employees for development, recognition, reward, or unacceptable performance or attendance
Job Requirements:
Lean/Continuous Improvement/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practical application
Drive Process Improvement across all aspects of Safety, Quality and Productivity
Proven ability to lead and direct others, coach, mentor and promote others
Knowledge of manufacturing resource planning, particularly work scheduling/lead times
Knowledge of quality management systems
Ability to present a positive unified front to departmental employees, reinforcing the goals, strategies, and personal commitment of the leadership team
Proven record of coaching others to success in their own areas of influence
Meticulous attention to detail; Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, changing production atmosphere while working independently with tight schedules and adhering to the highest standards of excellence
Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of personnel
Education and Work Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or Engineering preferred
- 5+ years successful leadership experience
- Supervising 10 or more employees.
- Strong computer skills basic mechanical components/aptitude
