Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with Tool Install General Requirements and specifications.
- Verifying model-to-design compliance and alignment with CAD standards.
- Overseeing and adhering to the Design Execution Plan in line with the contractor's design and coordination process.
- Managing zone creation or changes, ensuring adherence to DMZ documentation and space management plans.
- Conducting BIM Track reviews and responding to issues promptly.
- Reviewing and responding to project documentation and models within Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Leading clash resolution efforts, coordinating with trades, certified piping contractors, and the PIT Team as necessary.
- Reporting on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to track project progress.
- Additional responsibilities include facilitating coordination meetings, verifying model placements, escalating issues for resolution, and ensuring all design requirements are met before fabrication and installation.
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in construction installation practices, with a focus on piping, electrical, or dry mechanical disciplines.
- Experience working as a Construction Manager or Construction Superintendent essential
- Experience with BIM essential
- Experience in Sub Fab essential
- Semi-conductor experience a distinct advantage
- Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, or Plant 3D for 3D model development.
- Skilled in Navisworks Manage for 3D coordination and clash detection.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 for project collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong team working ethos and a team player.
- Proficient PC skills, Word, Excel, Power point and email.
