Primary duties of the Caregiver Scheduler in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods: you will be the primary point person for setting, coordinating, adjusting and managing the team schedule across the Health Services department. You will also assist in other important areas such as recruiting and training, administrative duties, and pick up caregiving floor shifts as needed. You will assist residents with activities of daily living - activities such as companionship, meal service, bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility and toileting. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
Ideal candidates must have a heart for serving others, as well as:
- Have two or more years experience as an assisted living/memory care caregiver or CNA
- Have experience with setting and managing complex schedules
- Possess efficient and savvy computer skills, be administratively sound/organized
- Have experience recruiting and training
- Be committed to and passionate about customer satisfaction
- Have leadership qualities; able to support the team professionally
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent/ Be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be 18 years or older
- Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Must be organized, detail conscious and self-initiating, ability to communicate
- Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Ability to respect the confidentiality of all clients/staff
- Good public relation skills; ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, volunteers, staff, and the general public
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, reliable, ethical.
