As an Associate Product Manager I, you will report to the Business Leader of Publishing. The Publishing team plays a crucial role in driving DaySpring's growth by expanding our reach and impact through innovative publishing solutions.
WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
The Associate Product Manager (APM) will lead and execute Publishing programs to be developed for designated channel and product lines. This APM position will lead our Bible, Bible Resource, and Digital Products business. While focusing on internal execution, the APM must be knowledgeable and have good awareness at the customer level. The APM will gain understanding and apply consumer insights to products and retail execution.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The following is required to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional work experience
- 12 months of Product Marketing or Project Management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Your resume/application will stand out if you have:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook
- Ability to research and analyze products, markets, and consumers. Understands influences that impact consumer behavior and decision making
- Ability to manage their time efficiently across multiple projects
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understands qualitative and quantitative research that has been done and executes based on that information
- Can make decisions based on financial goals established for brand or product
- Aligns short-term daily tasks to long-term strategies. Can assist in defining program requirements. Works to execute programs on time
- Ability to participate in and lead team discussions and product planning meetings
- Passionate about DaySpring mission
