Human Resources Coordinator

Primary Function
The HR Coordinator has a hands-on role that reports to our Human Resource Generalist and provides support to 175 offices across seven states. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance of timecards missed punches and accrual adjustments.
- Daily maintenance of attendance list.
- Daily maintenance of HRIS systems: update employee information.
- Maintain new hire folders, documents, and benefits.
- Daily attendance tracking. • Assist with Open Enrollment.
- Assign new hire training utilizing Mineral and Beltone University.
- Assist internal customers with benefits and other inquiries.
- Assist with recruiting, as necessary, by reviewing resumes and conducting phone interviews as needed.
- Prepare bonus calculations utilizing Excel.
- Maintain operation of office equipment.
- Reconcile benefit invoices for LifeLock, Supplemental life and other small benefit plans.
- Prepare and generate Census reports as needed.
- Organize travel for PAQ Sales training.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the office.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years' previous human resources experience preferred.
- Previous experience with HRIS preferred.
- Previous payroll experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills: must always show patience, humor, and helpfulness as the front-line contact for employee issues.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
- Must be well organized and able to multitask efficiently.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other Office Suite applications.
- Experience in Paycor is a plus.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk for 70%-90% of the workday in a general office environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $23.00-$25.00/ hour, depending upon experience
- Full-time (40 hours/ week), Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
