LinQuest is seeking a Senior Aircraft Survivability Engineer/SME who will provide engineering guidance to support the development and test of advanced aircraft. Interact daily with Air Force program managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) to assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. This position will be located in the Washington DC area with frequent US travel. TS SCI is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist system engineers in developing aircraft survivability specifications.
- Assess and review aircraft survivability specifications.
- Assist in the development of aircraft survivability test plans.
- Review test data from survivability test and evaluation.
- Provide performance assessments.
- Support the development of survivability support subsystems that enhance aircraft maintainability.
- Work with contractors and government engineering and test personnel.
Required Skills:
- BA Degree
- An active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position
- 10+ years' of specialty experience demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of all technical aspects related to aircraft survivability (e.g., visual, audio, infrared and radio frequency).
- Experience with recent significant systems engineering experience in the design, development, and testing of processes, technology and subsystems related to aircraft survivability.
- Specific knowledge of classified test and evaluation capabilities used to develop advanced aircraft characteristics.
- Willing to travel

- Experience around Fixed-wing aircrew (pilot of NFO)
- USN or USMC (vice USAF)
- LO background
- Knowledge of acquisitions
- Weapons School
