PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILTY
Contributes to the successful alignment of software, databases, reports, and organizational culture in support of business operations. Creates complex, custom reports that integrate data from across the enterprise, giving decision-makers access to pertinent and timely dashboard reports. Acts as subject matter expert on data queries and mentors other staff to develop and embed analytics expertise within the culture.

Create dynamic reporting environments allowing internal principles to explore data.

Create workflows, forms, reports, and other software constructs to support business functions.

Respond promptly to ad hoc data requests.

Coordinate with IT staff and technology vendors to integrate reports into systems.

Publish reports to end users in a variety of modalities.

Manage user roles and permissions for database applications.

Migrate and transform complex data sets.

Identify data quality issues and work across organizational boundaries to improve data quality.

Develop custom dashboards to support strategic business intelligence.

Evaluate data trends and assist Director of Data Analytics in building story boards for executive summaries.

Mentor data quality specialists and provide peer review of their work when requested.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, or other applicable fields and 4 years’ applicable experience, or a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, or other applicable fields and 2 years’ applicable experience.
Preferred:

Experience with data warehousing systems, SQL or Python scripting, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with HIPAA, PII, and other privacy security requirements.

Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Environment requires dexterity to remain calm and adapt to fast paced and emotional environments consisting of children with moderate to severe emotional and psychological needs.

Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Home-like settings with varying moderate to high degrees of background noise.

Light and ventilation are found in a typical home setting.

Some travel between locations required.

Campuses are smoke-free, except on permitted campuses in designated areas.

Possible injury when lifting or moving if employee fails to use proper body mechanics, or if proper techniques are not used.
