Job Summary:
Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing a strong pipeline of candidates through direct sourcing, networking, and applicant tracking tools. Support HR Manager with interviewing, pre-employment screening, and referring applicants for positions throughout the hourly operations teams. This position reports to the HR Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Work collaboratively with our Hiring Manager to understand business objectives and requirements for our open positions.
· Proactively identify, qualify, and recruit passive candidates.
· Conduct phone interviews and face-to-face interviews.
· Process criminal background checks.
· Ensure all pre-employment activities are finished before the start date.
· Create and maintain positive relationships with both active and passive candidates.
· Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
· Take direction from the HR Manager regarding what positions need to be filled in real-time while still maintaining strong pipelines for other areas.
· Utilize an online interview tool to assist in the talent acquisition process, including making candidate recommendations based on thoroughly screened candidates.
· Build an internal database of applicants for potential hires using an online interview tool while screening candidates.
· Analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application to determine the suitability of the applicant for employment to make recommendations to the hiring manager.
· Identify key external organizations (e.g., colleges/universities, Job Corp, etc.) to build a pipeline of candidates for positions or internships with the organization.
· Process internal applications for current employees who are interested in being considered for an open position.
· Responsible for all hiring reports as required.
Requirements:
- 2- or 4-Year degree required.
- Recent College grad or 1-2 years’ experience.
- Or any similar combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
