We are a startup based in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes by enhancing care and expanding access to treatment with telerehab robotic medical devices. We have a medical device B2C recovery coach position to work in a medtech company focused on stroke rehabilitation in homes. Responsibilities:
We are seeking individuals with customer facing expertise to provide support services for our stroke survivor users.
As a member of the User Experience Team, you will interact with stroke survivors by initiating conversations and checking-in on their experience with Motus Nova. You will assist them by adjusting their settings to optimize their rehab, setting expectations, and helping them set goals and ensuring they know you are supporting them every step of the way. You’re driven to recognize patterns in issues they may have and champion results - whether they be process updates, donning process improvement, or training for you and the team. You have the commitment, empathy, urgency and expertise to meet every call with the respect the customer deserves. You are empowered to provide customers with peace of mind, motivation, and hopefulness for the future. You understand sales and communicate clearly. You are driven to help ensure optimal rehab is provided to each and every user we servel and are ready to have a lot of fun in the process!
Daily responsibilities include:
- Providing support and motivation to stroke survivors
- Teaching stroke survivors how to effectively use rehab equipment
- Making check-in calls with users that recently received a Motus device
- Learning and utilizing a telehealth model to assist users
- Potential opportunity for research with our Director of Clinical Research
- Resolving any problems in a timely manner
- Completing calls to adjust settings for users
- Suggesting and implementing solutions for improving customer support
- Identifying problems new users may be encountering and how to remedy those problems
- Sharing insights with peers and management – our positive team culture relies on open communication to continuously improve how our work gets done.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
- Ability to connect with and care for stroke survivors
- Must have a passion and patience while connecting with people
- Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
- Strong sense of responsibility and flexibility
- Outstanding multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in working in a startup: fast-paced, dedication in time and energy, motivated to make a change and being part of a high energy team

Pay:
The Contractor will invoice Motus Nova LLC at a rate of $15/hr for training and $22 for each recovery coach session completed. A completed session is defined as a session where assessment data (ex: range of motion and strength) is collected and recorded in the Client's database.
