Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner in Behavioral Health provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion, and understanding. Delivers care to their full scope of practice and according to standard of care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary care team.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
1. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Behavioral Health RN in an acute care setting
3. Specialization as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred
4. BLS upon hire and maintain current
5. Two (2) years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
6. Must have a valid DEA number
7. Must have the ability to work with both adults, youth, and children
