JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: ReStore Donation Processor, Part-Time
Reports to: ReStore Manager
Job Overview:
The ReStore Donation Processor is responsible for helping the team carry out daily retail operations by receiving, processing, and pricing donations, and by assisting customers on the sales floor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary Focus: Assist with cleaning, testing and pricing donated merchandise such as appliances, furniture, electrical & plumbing fixtures, tools, and more.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise for customers and donors
- Provide exemplary customer service by creating an excellent ReStore experience
- Work with staff and other volunteers to ensure that store sales floor, kitchen, restrooms and other common areas are kept clean and safe
- Assist with the supervision and productive workflow of volunteers, as needed
- Ensuring that the ReStore is a welcoming, safe and clean place to shop and donate
- Other tasks as assigned by store manager and/or assistant manager
- Be present and play an active role in all ReStore and Affiliate events as needed

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills preferred. (Microsoft Word)
- Must exhibit initiative and strong work ethic, capable of remaining productive throughout the day
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a retail environment which frequently involves moderate to heavy lifting
- Must be capable of working productively in a team environment, with a combination of employees and volunteers, while on your feet 6+ hours/day
Working Conditions:
- This individual will work primarily inside the ReStore, but also in the outdoor receiving area
- This role involves frequent light to moderate lifting and occasional heavy lifting
- This role involves frequent interaction with customers, donors, and volunteers
Job Type & Schedule:
- This is a part-time hourly position, 21-22 hours per week
- Thursday, Friday, & Saturday each week
