The Assistant Operations Manager provides operational support to the Operations Manager of Chicagoland Scoopers. Our Columbus, OH location needs a high-energy, results-driven, self-motivated individual to fill the full-time, year-round position of Assistant Operations Manager.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for focusing on routing efficiency, properly staffing and training technicians, managing the technicians PTO providing coverage as necessary and other daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities as assigned.
Day to day:

Handle the oversight and management of Scooping Technicians is required.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies, professional code, and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college course work in management, or related field helpful but not required.
- Two or more years of experience in pet waste removal or related field preferred.

Some training and/or supervisor experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required with good driving record meeting insurability standards.
