About the Role
From large weddings and golf tournaments to intimate gatherings and parties, our team members consider it an honor to have the privilege of contributing to a memorable experience on someone’s special day! Our Banquet & Events team members are dedicated to flawless setup, execution, breakdown and delivery of ‘WOW’ service for The Peninsula Club’s special events.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, part-time & seasonal positions available
Schedule/Shift: Wide range of shifts available, dependent on operations
Your Contribution to Our Team Includes:
- Set up functions within the banquet space as well as other areas within or around the club as written on the Banquet Event Order.
- Set up to include moving tables and chairs and dressing tables with linen, decorating the rooms, varied decor and centerpieces.
- Set up will also include the placement of dishes, silverware, glasses, plates, cups/mugs, linen / napkins.
- Serve meals/ drink service to the guest and members in a professional hospitable manner making sure the meals are delivered to the correct recipient keeping in mind any allergies and specific meal requests.
- Ability to clean up after the event has ended to include clearing the tables of all dishware, glassware, silverware. Removal of all linen and centerpieces / décor.
- Maintain assigned areas during events while maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and assist in areas needed within the banquet event.
- Ability to carry large trays, furnishings and equipment weighing up to 20+ pounds

Must-Have Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum legal age to serve and prepare alcoholic beverages
- Prior customer service-related experience preferred
- Clear background screening and employment authorized
- A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
