Business Systems Analyst I
Broughton Hospital is currently accepting applications for a
Business Systems Analyst to work in Information System Services (ISS). The primary purpose of the Broughton Hospital Business Systems Analyst is to serve as liaison between the Information System Services (ISS) Department and the clinical and business units of the hospital. This consists of analysis of business objectives and process review, functional design and testing of assigned projects. In addition, this positon provides training and ongoing support of systems supplied by the ISS team.
This position will work closely with the ISS applications team for the entire application development lifecycle. Assistance will be required during the analysis phase by assisting in process flow analysis and process flow improvement, in the development phase by assisting with testing and demonstration with end users, in the testing phase by assisting with end user vetting of the application, during the documentation phase by helping create and/or proofing documentation and in the training phase by conducting and/or assisting with training.
All members of the Broughton ISS team are responsible for assisting the hospital and staff in complying with the HIPAA Security policies and Security Standards. Team members should also know their assigned responsibilities as members of the Disaster Recover Team as defined within the Broughton Hospital Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.

Four year degree and three years of experience in business systems analysis and design in the functional area assigned;

or two year degree in computer science, information systems, or related field in the functional area assigned and four years of experience in business systems analysis and design;
or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
