Job Description: Maintenance Technician
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on facilities and production equipment, ensuring smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The right individual for this role will be a team-oriented, flexible individual willing to “roll-up” their sleeves to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled PM activities on manufacturing/warehouse equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency, as well as, ensuring that all facilities systems (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, etc.) are in good working order.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production machinery and facility equipment, as needed.
- Building Systems Management: Monitor and maintain building systems such as fire alarms, security systems, etc.
- Basic Electrical Work: Utilize a multi-meter for tasks such as troubleshooting 24v emergency stop routes on industrial machinery and tracking motor power declines.
- Inventory and Organization: Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance activities.
- Grounds keeping: Assist in the coordination of all exterior ground maintenance such as landscaping, snow removal, etc.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards. Ensure that all contractors working onsite adhere to Anodyne’s safety protocols.
- Support Operations: Assist in relocating equipment, racking, etc. in the production and warehouse areas, utilizing tools like pallet jacks and hand trucks/dollies.
- Collaboration: Work closely withoperations leadership and employees to understand equipment performance issues and implement solutions.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade school preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years prior manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Must be familiar with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and schematic drawings.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and practices.
- Computer use competency strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication (English is required)
- Must be reliable and possess a proactive mindset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
