Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing quality supervision to physical therapist assistants per California and APTA guidelines.
- Evaluating and diagnosing a variety of motor based disorders impacting a child's ability to participate in their daily activities.
- Educating families and staff on how to effectively implement carry-over exercise programs
- Treating motor disorders from birth to 18 years
- Aiming for positive outcomes using evidence-based treatments
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, physicians, and other allied health professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active California Physical Therapy license
- APTA certification
- Must have a current TB test and pass a background check
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and enthusiastic
