Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Fitness Desk Attendant | Part Time for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

As a Fitness Desk Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our fitness center. You will assist members and guests with inquiries, oversee facility cleanliness and organization, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere conducive to a positive fitness experience.
Responsibilities:
- Know and greet members by name.

Registering member/guests by last name first, first name last and always get proper billing information, requests and gender preference.

Maintain cleanliness of fitness desk, locker room and wet areas throughout am and pm shifts.

Assist in keeping all Fitness/Tennis storage space clean and organized.

Review communication log book at the start of each shift. Record information regarding member/guest issues, housekeeping, engineering, pools, hot tubs and steam rooms to shift supervisor/manager.

Complete and initial all opening and closing checklist and turn into shift supervisor/manager.

Know current hours of operation for the following areas: Fitness, Spa Salon, Kid's Club, Spa Shop, Coffee Market, Aquatics, Tennis and Pool Cabana.
Qualifications:
- 6 months experience and training in similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry.

Helpful to have some computer experience as well as MICROS experience.

Must have excellent phone skills.

The Associate is often required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Must be able to lift and move moderate weights.

Availability required for AM shifts Monday through Friday.

Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone is preferred.
